Translink Go Card

Getting around Southeast Queensland is easy using public transport. Purchase a Go Card online here before you visit or buy one when you get to Surfers Paradise. Chempro Chemist in the Circle on Cavill complex sell Go Cards. This is the cheapest way to travel around the area.

When travelling with Translink, you can use buses across the entire network, trains in Southeast Queensland, ferries in Brisbane and the G:link trams on the Gold Coast.

​

At most, you will travel across 3 zoned areas on the Gold Coast. Click here to see the different zones and fares.

Off-peak fares are 20% cheaper than peak fares for Go Card users. Off peak fares apply on:

• weekdays: 8.30am-3.30pm and 7pm-6am the next day

• weekends: all day

• state-wide Queensland gazetted public holidays: all day.

Bus Stops and Cavill Avenue Tram Station

​

All buses depart from Ferny Avenue opposite the Circle on Cavill resort. The Cavill Avenue tram station is located in front of the Circle on Cavill resort on the Surfers Paradise Boulevard. You can easily tap on and off with your credit card instead of using a Go Card.
